Tameka, the woman behind the mask is currently a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, a mother of four and grandmother of two. She spends her time reading, writing, and exploring life. She is known as mother, friend, sister and confidante. She started this journey to give a voice to the pain that is often pushed down and ignored. Also as her writing career began her alter ego came out. She is known in the writing world as Author Michelle Warren, a writer that speaks from the hearts, mind, body and spirits of women.

Author Michelle Warren was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. She was raised by her grandmother and given a love of reading by her great grandmother, who continuously opened her to new and exciting places in books. Realizing she loved to create her own spin and change details in stories she read and shows she saw, she knew she wanted to write. Michelle began her writing in high school, creating short stories for fun. As an adult, her love for writing grew and has been her contentment and passion through life’s changes including marriage, motherhood, divorce and the pandemic.
